So another year is ending… This year has been noteworthy for many reasons. On the low spectrum: Politics were more confusing than ever. The world seemed unable to find a real understanding of each other’s differences. The sadness brought by unfortunate acts from others affected families and communities everywhere. While these times were difficult, they inspired us to rise above and appreciate what truly matters in our world.
On the high spectrum: The economy is beginning to recover, slowly but surely. People of every race and faith got together to fight for freedom and civil rights all over the world. Simple acts of kindness showed us how wonderful and amazing it is being human. We should never lose hope and always believe that Earth is a unique place. We must be mindful of how lucky we are; being able to cry, smile, feel and love.
Let’s celebrate the New Year with a glass of good wine or a bottle of craft beer. Come and sit at a table with friends and family, eating delicious food that feeds the soul.
